High School Senior Portraits – “It’s All About You”
Our goal in senior portrait sessions is to capture your interests and your personality in a senior portrait that “is all about you.”
Most seniors are open to trying something new to make their portraits reflect who they are, and we are all about that. Props that show the student’s talents and high school activities work well and have been commonly used for years. However, an even more effective way to achieve a unique portrait is to use advanced editing techniques to enhance the photographs.
In our first example, the contrast level and other settings were adjusted to provide a custom look to this image. With a creative eye, the right image enhanced in the right way, can make for a truly interesting and unique portrait.
Another method of creating unique portraits is to use a “green screen” as the background. With special editing software, the green background can be electronically replaced with another digital image.
In our second example, the green background was replaced with an image that was custom designed by Moments To Memories Photography and is a one-of-a-kind background created just for that student. A beach scene could have been used for the background or any other digital image for that matter. But, by using a green screen, an infinite variety of background choices can be offered.
We also create custom graphic designs that truly make a statement about a senior’s interest. In our third example, this Mustang is this student’s prized possession. He asked if we could create a senior portrait that expressed the passion he has for his car. So we went to work and combined several images into a single portrait. When he saw the results he was thrilled.

We review the package options and provide the student with all the necessary information to prepare for their shoot. Using today’s photo enhancement tools allows us to create really unique portraits, but we never forget that many Mom’s and Dad’s want a more traditional portrait to hang in their home. So every senior portrait session is taken with this in mind. We offer on-location sessions and studio sessions to accomplish this goal.
